Statement from Mayor Wilson regarding Sound Transit Expansion

From Mayor Katie B. Wilson:
“I want to see shovels in the ground on West Seattle this year, I want us to get clarity on the timeline for building to Ballard, and I want us to stop the delay and construct Graham Street – and I’ll be pushing to see that happen. I appreciate the updates from the plan we saw at the board retreat, which has created real progress for Seattle’s projects. The challenges facing Sound Transit are significant, but I am committed to keep up the momentum so we can make good on community expectations and deliver on the entire promise of ST3.”
